Nets appoints Tan Kah Chye as independent director
DIGITAL payments service provider Network for Electronic Transfers (Nets) on Wednesday said it has appointed Tan Kah Chye as an independent director to its board, with effect from June 25, 2021.
Mr Tan is the chief executive and founder of fintech firm CCRManager, which invests in and operates financial solutions for companies and financial institutions globally.
He was the chairman of the Banking Commission at the Paris-based International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) from 2010 to 2015, where he appointed a new team of executive committee members, created an advisory board and founded the ICC Academy in a partnership with Enterprise Singapore.
Mr Tan has over 20 years of banking and asset management experience in Singapore, Frankfurt and London, in institutes including JPMorgan Chase, Barclays Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Deutsche Bank.
He has also led the successful development of the world's first synthetic securitisation of trade finance assets, Nets said.
