Courts Asia shares come alive with Nojima's S$0.205 a share offer
The figure represents a premium of about 35% above Courts' closing price on Wednesday

SHARES in retailer Courts Asia leapt once a trading halt was lifted on Friday afternoon, following a conditional cash offer by a unit of Japanese electronics retailer Nojima Corp at S$0.205 per share.
The counter hit an intra-day high of S$0.205 before ending the day at S$0.20, or 31.6 per cent higher than Thursday's closing. It also saw comparatively heavy trading, with around 2.23 million shares changing hands, against a 12-month volume average of 218,000 shares.
