SEMBCORP Marine (SembMarine) shares eased off on Thursday following a frenetic rise in price and trading volumes late Wednesday that drew a Singapore Exchange (SGX) query.

They ended two cents, or 1.3 per cent, lower at S$1.49 on turnover of 7.6 million shares after the mainboard-listed offshore and marine (O&M) company said it was not aware of any undisclosed information that might account for the unusual stock activity.
