More pressure to come for telcos' top lines: DBS

MOBILE service revenues, already under heavy pressure, could be headed for a steeper drop over the next two years, an analyst has predicted.
DBS Bank's Sachin Mittal expects industrywide turnover from this segment to sink by 6.5 per cent year on year in 2019, and by 7.6 per cent in 2020, as the entry of Australia's TPG Telecom throws a spanner into mobile network operators' (MNOs) works.
