Risk appetites return as US corporates report strong performances, no further shocks from US-China trade war or Brexit
LED by Wall Street's positive cues on a number of strong performances from US corporates, there were many reasons for confidence on Thursday as risk appetite returned to Asia's equity markets.
"Asia was mostly higher as investors took solace from a raft of earnings that provided some optimism against a background of concern that global economic growth lacks momentum," AxiTrader Asia-Pacific market strategist Stephen Innes noted.
