Singapore grounds all Boeing 737 Max planes after Ethiopian Airlines crash

SINGAPORE has grounded all Boeing 737 Max planes, following two fatal accidents involving the aircraft in less than five months.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) on Tuesday said it is temporarily suspending operation of the Boeing 737 Max and all its variants into and out of Singapore, with effect from 2pm on the same day.
This comes after an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 MAX 8 went down minutes into a flight to Nairobi, killing all 157 people on board. The weekend crash sent Boeing shares tumbling more than 5 per cent on Monday.
