Trying to get on robots' softer side

THE time has come for robots to leave factories and enter homes, one new industry group here believes.
To push that agenda, the Asia Pacific Assistive Robotics Association (Apara), which was set up in February and which has about 50 members, is putting on a conference about ethics in artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics.
