Laughing Matter
One of India's best standup comics, Atul Khatri, returns to Singapore for another comedy blast. Expect the motormouth to skewer everything from Bollywood movies and masculinity, to Indian politics and nationalism.
Interestingly, Khatri only became a comedian in his forties. In 2011, he thought of having a substitute profession such as bartending or deejaying. But after getting positive responses for his casual jokes on Facebook, he signed up for an open-mic session and discovered his talent for standup comedy.
He has since appeared in more than 400 comedy drama shows, TV commercials, YouTube videos and comedy specials, including Netflix's Comedians Of The World.
