Hip To Be Square
The Singapore Art Book Fair is back with three days of artist books, self-published zines, erudite discussions, as well as late-night parties. Hosted by the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art, this hip-tobe-square event features publishers and artists such as HOLYCRAP, The Institute of Critical Zoologists, Basheer Graphic Books and Ujikaji. The fair opens on June 28 night with performances by Bani Haykal and Ferry. It continues into the weekend with dozens of activities, such as panel discussions on photography, critical writing and independent publishing. Speakers include Ute Meta Bauer, HG Masters, Mark Rappolt and many more.
The Singapore Art Book Fair 2019 runs at NTU CCA from June 28 to 30. Admission is free. For more information, visit singaporeartbookfair.org
