Switching to a glass facade brought more light into this home.
FOR ALMOST six years, a Singaporean/Swiss couple living in a conservation corner terrace in the East Coast had to live with passersby peeping into their home through the fixed timber-louvred wall on the side of their house.
"We couldn't get any privacy," says the Singaporean wife who can breathe easier now that the louvres have been turned into an eye-catching glass facade. Nobody can peep inside now - instead they're just admiring the 8m by 3.5m wall of clear and textured glass blocks imported from France.
