Malaysia: Shares open lower on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 21.06 points, or 1.32 per cent, to 1,573.38 as at 9.15am.
Volume was 1.09 billion lots worth about RM506.00 million. Losers beat gainers 844 to 78.
