China Aviation Oil appoints new CEO, CFO
WANG Yanjun is stepping down as chief executive officer (CEO) of jet-fuel trader China Aviation Oil : G92 0% from Thursday (Sep 15), in line with senior management succession planning, the company announced in a Tuesday bourse filing.
The 59-year-old, who took up the post in 2018, will remain an executive director of China Aviation Oil. He will be succeeded as CEO by Lin Yi, 52, who has served as general manager at China National Aviation Fuel South China Bluesky Corp since 2018.
Before that, Lin was the general manager of the Guangdong branch of China National Aviation Fuel South China Bluesky Corp from 2013 to 2018, and an advisor to the same branch from 2010 to 2013.
Separately, China Aviation Oil also announced the appointment of Zou Yaoping, 48, as chief financial officer (CFO), effective Thursday. He was most recently a vice-president at China Aviation Oil (Singapore); before that, he was the assistant to the general manager of the finance department at the China National Aviation Fuel Group.
Zou takes over the role from Xu Guohong, who has been the CFO since 2017. Xu was seconded from China National Aviation Fuel Group and will be returning there to take up another role.
China Aviation Oil closed at S$0.845 on Tuesday, down 0.6 per cent or S$0.005.
