HC Surgical clinic granted licence to provide Covid-19 testing
A CLINIC belonging to HC Surgical Specialists 1B1 : 1B1 0%has been granted a licence by the Ministry of Health to provide a number of Covid-19 tests, announced the group in a midday filing on Wednesday (Feb 16).
Located at The Hillford along Jalan Jurong Kechil, HC Endoscopy & Piles Centre (Hillford) is now licensed to perform polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and saliva PCR testing, antigen rapid test services as well as pre-departure testing for the virus, among others.
The Hillford facility joins HC Surgical's existing licensed clinic located at Grange Road, ACMS Medical Clinic.
"As the nation moves to live with Covid-19 and countries open their borders to travellers, Covid-19 testing services have become the norm. As fellow healthcare workers, we wish to do our part to help people with their testing needs," said Heah Sieu Min, executive director and chief executive of the group.
There were no trades done for shares in HC Surgical, which remained at S$0.50 as at 4.15 pm on Wednesday, after the news.
