Minor International sees major opportunities in travel recovery
MINOR International was so named because its founder, William Heinecke, was just 17 years old – a minor, in legal terms – when he started the business.
Some 45 years on, Heinecke shows no signs of slowing down his quest to build the company’s global portfolio of hospitality and lifestyle brands.
At the last count, the Thailand-based conglomerate operated some 8,800 rooms in about 550 hotels worldwide. Its sprawling ecosystem of hotels and resorts, which serves customers across six continents, includes luxury brands such as Anantara Resorts and Avani Hotels & Resorts.
