SINGAPORE digital customer experience (CX) solutions provider TDCX is expanding into South Korea, its fourth new market in 2 years.

The move will strengthen the company's Korean language capabilities and increase its share of the customer experience market in South Korea, TDCX said on Thursday (Jan 27).

Tony Bruno, TDCX's executive vice-president of north Asia and business strategy, said South Korea's population is tech-savvy and among the fastest adopters of new trends, making it "an exciting market for innovative products and services".

The company will begin operations in South Korea with 3 projects, including an omnichannel customer experience project for a gaming company and a technology company, and a sales and marketing project for a professional social network.

To helm the South Korea office, TDCX has appointed Kim Minjee, who has been managing the company's Korean teams across Asia, including Thailand, Malaysia and China, as its vice-president of operations. Kim will be responsible for overseeing site operations, training and talent development.

The company also expects to expand its team in South Korea, to meet demand from global clients and other new economy players.
