Altara Ventures, by five private capital veterans, plans to raise over US$100 million for regional tech investments

A NEW venture capital firm by five private capital veterans, including businessman Koh Boon Hwee, is raising an inaugural fund of over US$100 million to capture early-stage opportunities in South-east Asia.
Called Altara Ventures, the fund is led by five blue-chip general partners: Credence Partners' Mr Koh, Tan Chow Boon and Seow Kiat Wang, as well as venture capitalists Dave Ng and Gavin Teo.
