THE multi-ministry taskforce tackling the Covid-19 outbreak is looking to reduce the number of services considered essential in a bid to further minimise movement and keep people at home.
According to National Development Minister Lawrence Wong, about 20 per cent of workers in the essential workforce category still commute daily. The aim, he said, is to reduce this figure.
