WHEN beloved department store Robinsons announced that it would close its doors for good, many bemoaned the loss of the storied retailer - and fretted over whether their pre-paid mattresses would still be delivered. Meanwhile, creditors and consignors clamoured to know if claims would be honoured and what they would be paid as the business began winding up.
