ULTRA LUXURY CRUISE LINE SILVERSEA Cruises is set to return to Asia for the first time in over two years, bringing its signature all-inclusive sailing experiences to the region from December 2022 to May 2023.

The intimate 596-guest Silver Muse will be the first ship to sail in the region since March 2020, leaving Singapore on Dec 2 for Australia, with stopovers in the exotic Indonesian islands of Bali and Lombok. Other ships to follow are Silver Shadow, Silver Whisper and Silver Spirit. Ranging in size from 51 to 364 suites, the ships are designed to create luxury of space for fewer, select travellers.

Asian journeys

Some of this season’s highlights include calls in Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Australia and other destinations. As the ships are generally able to anchor at smaller ports, guests get to explore a host of hidden gems. Complimentary onshore excursions often offer immersive itineraries, and the smaller groups mean not having to jostle with hordes of other tourists.

A more authentic travel experience is just one of the hallmarks of Silversea’s smaller cruises, as well as its personalised service, thanks to a staff-to-guest ratio that’s nearly one to one. There’s no request too small – whether it is to bring you a pillow menu or your favourite tipple.

Aside from watching the sunrise and sunset in the comfort of your spacious room, you can head to the plush observation library to soak in the ocean views, reflect, and read a book. Unlimited Wi-Fi onboard means you’re always connected for work or with loved ones at home. For serious pampering, book a luxurious spa treatment or de-stress in relaxation areas, saunas and steam rooms.

Gourmet experiences

Silversea’s restaurants are highly regarded by cruisers and gourmands, with each cruise offering multiple restaurants serving diverse cuisines.

For instance, available onboard Silver Muse is Atlantide, an elegant bar and grill that dishes up blue lobster creations, verbena-infused red snapper in sea salt crust or succulent steaks. The stylish Indochine restaurant features punchy but balanced Asian flavours, while meticulously prepared Japanese cuisine can be had at Kaiseki.

While La Dame presents the best of French gastronomy, La Terrazza excels in Italian cuisine woven with the freshest ingredients. Another inviting space is Silver Note, for small plates or larger menus, complemented by jazz tunes .

In-suite dining is available around the clock too, elevated with complimentary sustainable caviar as well as premium champagne, wines and spirits.
