JUST AS HOW the interlocking Cs are synonymous with the House of Chanel, so is the matelassé or quilted pattern, thanks to Gabrielle Chanel's love for horse riding. She first incorporated the quilted designs in her couture collections in the 1920s.
Coco Crush, Chanel's fine jewellery collection replicates the quilted pattern, which has been the House's emblematic motif for the last 65 years.
Now in its fifth year, the Coco Crush collection has been expanding year on year, encompassing earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
