The Great Explorer
Holiday gear that's fashionably functional.
WHEN ARTISTIC DIRECTOR Augustin De Buffévent acquired 302-year-old French heritage brand Fauré Le Page about a decade ago, his mission was to give a sense of freedom to all its designs and creations.
Fauré Le Page was established in 1717 by Louis Pigny, a gun and swordsmith from Normandy. The brand later began producing leather hunting accessories such as cartridge cases, kit bags and satchels in 1925.
De Buffévent's stayed true to the brand's utilitarian and functional DNA with his travel-ready designs of fashionable, hunting-themed luxury handbags and small leather goods.
