IF VISITORS had set foot in The Business Times newsroom this week, they would probably have been taken aback by the flurry of activity in our usually rather muted office.
The sounds that have surrounded me this past week: the rustling of paper as colleagues desperately shredded confidential documents from 10 years ago, muttered swearing as they tried cramming as many items as they could into cardboard boxes strewn everywhere, and the occasional dust-propelled sneeze that was loud enough to wake the dead.
For context, we have been vacating our current premises to move into a "holding area" while the office gets renovated.
