Indonesian credit builder SkorLife bags US$4 million seed round
SKORLIFE, an Indonesia-based fintech company, has raised a US$4 million seed round led by early-stage investor Hummingbird Ventures.
QED Investors, as well as returning investors AC Ventures and Saison Capital, also participated in the funding round.
SkorLife enables users to check their credit scores from Indonesia’s credit bureaus via its mobile app. Additionally, the company helps detect identity theft and offers guidance on how users can build their credit through educational content and credit improvement tools.
“Through its mission to bring financial fairness and freedom to the market, SkorLife is paving the way for a more inclusive and prosperous future for all Indonesians,” said Adrian Li, founder and managing partner of AC Ventures.
The startup, which raised US$2.2 million in a pre-seed round led by AC Ventures last September, will use the fresh funds for product development, marketing and hiring.
