M1 to open new data centre, boost cloud offering
It ties up with Hitachi Data Systems to provide SMEs in Singapore a comprehensive suite of secure services

TELCO M1 will, on Friday, announce its next-generation data centre and a partnership with Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) to offer an enhanced suite of enterprise storage and cloud offerings targeted mainly at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore.
The data centre, located at M1's main International Business Park office site, will be a purpose-built five-storey facility that is able to support more than 900 high-power density racks. The ISO 27001 and ISO 9001-certified facility is equipped with redundant power and cooling systems, and offers advanced fire suppression and access control measures to customers.
