Malaysia: Shares close higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 14.53 points to 1,612.11.
Volume was 8.869 billion lots worth RM4.677 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 816 to 412.
