Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 1.58 points, or 0.10 per cent, to 1,634.13 as at 9.05am.
Volume was 761.99 million lots worth about RM423.01 million. Gainers beat losers 292 to 269.
