Malaysia: Shares tumble at Monday's open

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index sliding 24.24 points or 1.6 per cent to 1,458.4 as at 9.04am.
Volume traded across the Bursa market was 332.6 million lots worth RM183 million.
Losers beat gainers 318 to 110.
