Just as he rattles off financial numbers seared into his memory, he replays vivid observations right down to the exact date and day marked on his seven-year (and counting) timeline at the Swiss investment bank, the world's largest wealth manager - observations that assert his bullish conviction on Asia.

"It's a matter of time before everybody comes back to the same reasoning. So you need to be a bit more empirical, and the empirical part of it comes because of your experience over the years and the friendships gained as well," Mr Koh tells The Business Times.
