WE'RE ALMOST midway through 2020 and thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, many are left wondering, "what is happening, why is this happening, and what's coming next."
That sense of the unknown and feeling anxious is understandable.
Dr Rachel Lewis, a registered occupational psychologist and director at Affinity Health at Work, says, "Crises cause unknown and uncertain situations and a sense of danger. Many people are likely to feel a heightened awareness of the current outbreak and the risks that they may be exposed to during their work. Concern and fear are common and it is important that people feel comfortable talking about their stress and worries and have access to support and advice to cope."
