My career isn’t broken just because I’m on a career break

IT HAS been a year since I went on my second maternity leave, and six months since I decided to extend that leave into a “career break”.
It’s been a wonderful time for me and my family, and has allowed me to embrace my role as a mother to my two children, now aged one and three. What I didn’t expect was how much I would gain from it, too.
