SINGAPORE Airlines : C6L 0% will launch non-stop flights between Singapore and London’s Gatwick Airport from June 2024, it said on Monday (Dec 18).

The new SQ310 service will operate five times weekly on the national carrier’s Airbus A350-900 aircraft on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, depending on regulatory approval.

The return leg, flight SQ309, will operate from Gatwick Airport to Singapore on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The first flight is set to depart Singapore for Gatwick Airport on Jun 21, 2024, SIA said.

The new service supports existing flight services to Heathrow Airport, which operates four-times daily, and will bring the airline’s total number of flights to the UK to 33 weekly services from 28 services. SIA also operates five-times weekly services to Manchester Airport.

Furthermore, the addition of Gatwick Airport will raise the number of European destinations in the SIA network to 141.

The airline also noted that the early morning arrival of SQ309 will offer options for passengers to connect to SIA and Scoot flights to destinations in South-east Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
