Green Oasis
A garden on every floor makes this house a cool tranquil space.
MOST LANDED HOMES have a garden on ground level. But this corner terrace in Bukit Timah has a garden on each on its three levels - which may look good but also means major punishment for the designated gardener assigned to do all the watering.
That's why when the aptly named Wallflower Architects proposed bringing greenery to the upper floors, its client the Lim family was initially hesitant to accept the idea.
"I was a little skeptical due to the cost and maintenance. But when we were shown how the gardens would look and how some of the watering could be done automatically, we put our trust in Wallflower. No regrets on that front," says Mr Lim, who works for a property developer.
