When you have clients who love entertaining at home, it is all too easy to throw wow factors into the design, creating an ostentatious home that visitors will remember for time to come.
But designer Alessandro Perinelli, founder of his eponymous firm, had an added challenge. "My clients wanted a home designed to handle fairly large gatherings, but they also wanted it to be cosy enough for days when it is all about intimate family time," he says.
His clients are an Indian expatriate couple who work in the law and finance industries, and their two children.
