Gin And Laksa
Local food has been paired with everything from beer to wine and even whisky, but now's a chance to see just how well chicken rice, laksa and Peranakan otak-otak can match with locally-made gin. Homegrown gin bar CIN CIN puts together its second Local Gin & Food Pairing series which will see locally crafted alcohol paired with everyone's hawker favourites. The three-course gin tasting menu is curated by head bartender Fadly Sujebto who aims to show how local gin which makes use of Asian and local botanicals is particularly suited to go well with spicy local food. The locally crafted gin brands featured in the menu include the Brass Lion Singapore Dry, Tanglin Orchid Gin and Tanglin Mandarin Chilli. The one-anda- half-hour experience is priced at S$85++ for up to six guests a day.
