Singaporeans Caleb Lin and Terra Chua have an unusual way of remembering the nation's past. They create miniature figures, which they sell through their brand, Miniature Stories.

Their Heritage series focuses on life in Singapore in the 1950s to 1970s, recreating shophouses as well as other notable characters such as the policeman in his khaki shorts, samsui woman, trishaw rider and kacang puteh man. Each 1:26 scale figure is hand-sculpted, cast in a mould, produced in metal and hand-painted individually.

The couple pride themselves on creating pieces that are true to form, down to the little details, such as the dragon and flower motifs underneath the windows on the shophouses and the little lightbulbs in the rooms.
